AFC DUNSTABLE SENIOR SECTION PRESENTATION

The AFC Dunstable Youth Section picked up 7 trophies, with the Under 9, 10, 11 and 14 teams taking all the plaudits. The Under 9's won the Beds Mini Soccer League Cup and then they completed the double by clinching the Division One title.
Our 2 Under 10 teams won 3 trophies between them. The Sunday team are champions of the Beds Mini Soccer League Division One with a 100% record. They also reached the League Cup Final and were surprisingly beaten in the final. The Saturday team matched the Under 9's by winning the double in the MKDJ's 7 League. They only dropped 2 points all season and won the league by a canter. To complete a memorable season, the League Cup was also lifted.
The Under 11's won the Chiltern Youth League Cup. To add to the cup, they also were runners up in Division One of the league.
To complete a great season, the Under 14 Saturday team lifted the League Cup and await a league decision to see if they have won the league, which could make it 8.
All in all the club have picked up 9 trophies, with the 1st team and Reserves also getting in on the act.

The club held its Youth Presentation and once again it was a roaring success with over 300 people in attendance.
On hand to give out the trophies was the club captain James Baldry and 1st team top goalscorer BJ Christie and the club would like to thank them for giving up their Sunday to be there.
Over 60 trophies were handed out to all the players, which included Players Player, Managers Player, Supporters Players, Appearances Awards and various League Trophies.
The committee would like to thank everyone who helped out on the day and without them the day would have not been a success.

AFC Dunstable have introduced a new scheme for season 2011-12 in sponsoring any of our players training kit. This is open from our Under 18 team through to our 1st Team.
The kit consists of a training shirt, shorts, socks and waterproof jacket all supplied by Joma.
Your name or company will be printed on the shirt and jacket along with the players initials.
All players sponsored will appear on this page. (Scroll down)
To sponsor an Under 18 player is £67 and an adult player is £80. 1st Team captain James Baldry is seen below in the kit.

The club has set up an Under 11 Girls team that will play in the Chiltern 7's League.

AFC Dunstable have teamed up with a Sports Therapist who is FA Level Three Treatment of Injury and Sports Electrotherapy qualified. He lives within 3 miles of Creasey Park and can treat players from home and sometimes on Tuesday nights at the club, subject to availability.
All appointments must be pre-booked and a parent/guardian must be present for players under the age of 18.
Injuries will be initially assessed and diagnosed then treatment given unless it is felt a referral to a GP or hospital is necessary.
Any medical issues outside of sports injuries must be directed to your GP.

Saturday 26th November was the official opening ceremony of Creasey Park Community Football Centre.
The day climaxed with the SSMFL Premier Division fixture of AFC Dunstable v Dunstable Town, which AFC won 1-0, with a goal by Craig Butler on 22 minutes, in front of a crowd of 565.
Before that many other activites took place. This included a club photograph of all our teams which can be seen below.
