We wish Steve all the best.

GOLF DAY SUCCESS.

26th November 2004.

Our golf day took place at Mentmore Golf & Country Club and with over 80 players on show a great day was had by all. If we thought the golf was a success then the presentation in the evening surpassed it.
With over 100 attending, we raised a substantial sum towards our new ground fund with an auction & raffle.
A big thankyou must go to Dave & Sally Collins for organising the day and Eric Woolf who worked out all the scores. Many others helped to make the evening a success, these included Steve Cantellow for being the auctioneer, Wendy Woolf & Sally Collins for the raffle and Declan Duggan for donating tickets for Arsenal/Chelsea & Arsenal/Fulham.
Our Vice Chairman, Nigel Wright, donated a signed Tiger Woods print, of which there are only 25 in the world. This item was the star of the show and brought in a substantial ammount.

3 MORE POINTS FOR RESERVES.

4th January 2005.

The reserves were awarded 3 points due to their game against Bedford United being postponed. That puts the reserves on 18 points. Hopefully another 3 points will be awarded soon, due to Langford not being able to field a team 2 weeks later.

LEE RETURNS

8th February 2005.

Our championship winning captain Lee McCulloch is set to sign on for the club in the near future.
Lee of course left the club in the summer due to our lack of promotion. He joined Southern League Premier outfit Hitchin Town, who are 4 divisions higher than ourselves but did not look out of place as he became a regular under Kerry Dixon's reign as manager. When Kerry left to join Dunstable, new manager Darren Salton did not use Lee as much and frustration set in. While it is great to welcome Lee back, it is with some sadness, as we all hoped he would go from strength to strength. One good thing though, Lee still has age on his side and when our plans take shape, Lee may want to grow with us.

LEE BACK IN HITCHIN 1ST TEAM

1st March 2005

With Lee McCulloch finally signing for the club and his long awaited return getting closer, he has been recalled by Hitchin Town.
While it is a shame he will not be wearing our colours, it is good to see Lee back in their 1st team and actually playing.

UNDER 11'S FOR SEASON 2005-06

May 10th 2005.

The club will be running a under 11's for next season which brings our teams to five of which three are youth and two at adult level.
It is great news to see the club growing and hopefully more teams will come under our banner in the future.
All at the club extend good luck to the management team of Duncan Park, Tony Ratcliffe & Terry Janes.

UNDER 8'S & UNDER 9'S

22nd May 2005.

Two more youth teams will wear the colours of AFC Dunstable next season.
With the under 11's on board, we shall be turning out with under 8's & under 9's.
Brian Marshall, Dave Arch & Paul Carter will be in charge of the under 9's.
The under 8's will be under the guidance of Paul Marlow. Paul will soon be confirming his partner who will manage the team.
